www.pbreview.com is a good site with a lot of user reviews for you to get some ideas.... my favorite place to buy is actionvillage.com, fast shipping, low prices and good service.
yeah there are a lot of nice markers for under $150 (as long as you arent buying walmart brass eagle crap), spyders and tippmans tend to be the most popular in that price range and are both good quality products. really depends on your playing style and prefrences. i have a spyder rodeo (~$100) and im pretty happy with it, i wish i got a gun with powerfeed though rather than vertical, id only get vertical if you plan on shooting really fast often (more than 5 balls/second)

For under $150, your are not going to get a real dependable marker+tank and goggles, unless you find a sale somewhere. Anything from Brass Eagle=JUNK and will break in record time. You may find a Spyder Imagine kit for close to that. They are a good all around marker with an electronic trigger frame, with many upgrades available when you progress in your playing ability.
Otherwise, for a good "starter" set, I'd give my biggest recomendation to the Tippmann 98 custom. It might be a little over that price range, but you will not have to worry about the marker breaking right away. They are built like tanks and take the abuse of a new player very well. They also have many upgrades available, and are well suited to recreational play.
If you absolutely can't go over $150, you may want to check into something used.

umm i dont know it depends, i upgraded my tank right away, same with barre and hopperl, still useing mask, gun. and umm i think thats it. if you see yourself getting more into it and wanting to upgrade get all of them separtly, or if no upgrades and want the basic stick to package. Also you wont find much under 150 that is good and new.... look on ebay. i bet you can get a really suped up tippy for under that or around that is gently used. mostly because tippys have horrible resale value. a used one under that is still better then most guns you fdind under that.

Get a spyder pilot that's what I started with & I still use it. You'll have enough with $150 plus you'll have enough for some goggles & a co2 tank

go to walmart, look for a lancer it's red and comes with mask, tank, the works. it's also a very good gun, easy to field clean, and some what accurate. It's semi-auto and cheap but worth it.
