Wow, I think that is cool. Not very many people break up in good standings. If the two of you are friends, then I think it is an ok idea. It shows that she still cares enough to make sure that you are ready for her to start dating. If you are not good friends still, I dont think that it would be any of your business. It all depends on the situation.

Yes and no.
If you broke up and remain on good terms, it's not necessarily unusual that such a girl would seek your approval or acceptance. A 'good' break-up indicates that you remain respectful of each other and each other's opinions. She may just want a 'guy's' opinion of whether this new boy is worth her while.
On the other hand, her asking you for the 'ok' on a new guy is also a form of extermination. She's saying goodbye (either to you or to herself or BOTH) to the relationship you had previously as boyfriend and girlfriend in the most effective way she can -- by replacing you. There will be no more 'room' for you as the boyfriend in her head -- only the ex-boyfriend.

Yeah sure if she breaks up with you on good terms then you would probably be really close friends so she would want to know what you think of this new guy.

Sounds like either you are still trying to control the relationship (even though it's over) or you still have feelings for her and haven't totally let her go. You two are no longer an item, this is a free country and she doesn't need your permission to see anyone else.

Depends.... if the guy is your best friend, or someone really close to you, then yeah, she should be discussing with you before she goes after him. It's only courtasy.
Of you're talking like in general should she ask your permission to date other people, then NO. You don't own her, she is not your proporty.
