Of course it's not bad to be without a vehicle when you're over 18. You are actually helping the environment by not adding to global warming and public transportation can be quite efficient (I suppose, depending on where you live)

I don't see why it would be. You know, there are some people over 18 that don't have their driver's license. At least you are willing to buy your own car. Many people are given a car so they may make comments or not be able to relate to you. Peace.
I wish you the best there is.

No! You are doing the right thing by saving for a car. Don't buy one that costs more than you have saved. Owing money sucks. You are on the right track....

It's more embarrassing to be over 18 and have worse grammar than most people ten years younger than you.

No. Why own a car if you don't need it? Unless you just like buying gas and paying insurance.

no its not! actually its really hard having a car! i used to be so anxious to get a car and now i have one and i cant buy anything for myself! gas is high, your insurance will be high and you will be broke! enjoy your freedom and money for now! also, when you get used to driving it is really hectic after a while! enjoy carpooling with others! less stress!
