all of the sudden i cant see any videos or anything and it said it was probably because i had an old version of the macromedia's player or because i had java script turned off and i already turned java script on but i still cant see any videos!!!

One on the bottom is the Flash player. After it does its little thing, just hover your cursor over the blue "About"; it will tell you what version that you've got installed.

If you are using FireFox...
Open a new tab and type into the titlebar about (colon) plugins...
Like this about:plugins
This will bring up the list of all the plugins currently install on firefox and that's on your computer.
Current Flash version is Shockwave Flash 9.0 r28

If you go to their official website Im sure there is a download available for the latest version. This will insure that you have the most recent version.

Go to http://www.adobe.com and click the thing that says GET LATEST FLASH PLAYER

ADOBE now owns MACROMEDIA. so the new flash player is made by ADOBE.
