Who knows the answer to this?

Last summer I was walking my dog in a small park near my home. I happened to see a small group of children ages 6-8 years old practicing karate. They looked so cute in their white robes. As I sat a watched this sence a group of older boys came riding up on their bikes 13-16 years old, these were rough looking boys and a few of them were smoking. They began to insult the children, laughing at them and making loud noises like" yaaaa, whaooo.
I thought to myself: what would make these other boy's behave in such a way? Was it because they were not apart of anything, was it jealosy, anger??

There seems to be a group that does not like it whenever someone else is happy or having fun. They grow up to be cynical, resentful and bullish always making fun of people just because they have nothing better to do in life. There are a lot of those kinds of people in the world, especially here on R&S.

In my experience people put doen other people in order to feel superior. In order to feel superior there must be an inferior person thus the older kids where harrasing the younger kids. The other thing is the wolfpack mentality. Kids and a lot of adults don't have good reasoning skill. They are pretty much followers. For kids the concep that you are allowed to like things or dislike things that are different to your friend does not exist. So, what happenes is that one kid decides to harras the younger kids for whatever reason. the other kids just follow withough asking themselves wether what they are doing is correct or not. I bet that if the martial arts teacher would had come up to the teenagers and asked them to join the class maybe one of them would. Even if they don't join right then and there a few days later one of them may join. Kids need giudance.

Well, my older sister whom I'm very fond of, and is a psychologist, read her papers and theory's to me. I have a slight notion that it began with wanting attention, lonelyness, and the mere pure evilness of the heart. Every time you do a wrong, it gets easier and easier to do it. As a lie grows, so does sin and untruthfulness. It is easier and less guilty-ful. These boys just saw an oppurtunity to use their power of unethical words.
Unfourtantely, I cannot say they didn't really mean it. However, my little friend's slight yet firm tug on their hard hearts, whom I call Justice, will break this cycle. They only way is to be soft. I say they should get a beaux. Not only will they're teasing and coldness stop, but they will have a change of heart, a stronger love of life and fellow peoples.


I'M TIRED OF IT!!!!!! I WAS A KID TOO YA KNOW!!!!!! I WAS NOT LIKE THAT BUT I SAW THERE HAS NEVER BEEN A LIVING KID THAT ACTUALLY FOLLOWED THE SAYING "KIDS WILL BE KIDS" .... ALL OF YOU OLD PEOPLE DONT UNDERSTAND!!!!!!!!! THE KIDS DONT IMPRESS. THEY DON'T TRY, ATLEAST NOT THAT WAY. YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND ANY OF IT. DON'T TRY TO UNDERSTAND.

Lack of Self Love. When a bully acts as such it is because they feel they have to take the shame and guilt away from themselves and focus it somewhere else. This is why when you stand up to a bully they back down. I have been the bully and the so called victim, both lack self love.

The bully is actually a weak nothing on the inside. Something or someone made them feel inferior, insecure, and gave them low self worth and self esteem. The only way they can feel anything good about themselves at that age is to beat up on others to get a sense of superiority.

nowadays there's alot of trouble makers (mostly teens) they try to act cool when it isn't it just makes them look low. Most teen usually follow the crowd as well. If a friend does something then the other will obviously follow. And the smoking part..ughh..that's just sick.. GOSH !! .. people these days don't realize how many years of life their losing and could enjoy. Sure it's hard to quit smoking but at least try.. don't do it cause ur friends do it cuz it'll make you look "cool." I don't know most teens have alot of trouble being followers and not being themselves!

satan takes over boys between the ages of 12-18. there's no excuses or reasons for their behavior. they just become evil creeps. they can't help it.
in just a few years, those sweet boys practicing karate will be smoking and cursing too. it's just the way it goes.

I bet when you were their ages you were a hellion too - you might not remember it that way, but ask your mother or a younger sibling (if they're not still afraid of you they'll agree with me).

I think if they are in a group, its more or less to impress each other. Trying to be popular and a leader in a mean hurt full way at someone else's expense. They think it makes them cool..No brain to know it hurts others around them until it happens to them.

IT isnt something, it's there age, a lot of 13-16 yr old boys are just plain jerks, and they probably had no other way to entertain themselves. Sad, so, so, sad.

They're arrogant, a little jealous of the kids. They're sensitive and self concise about who they are, except they feel a need to express it, usually doing so in groups.
