ok so when you go to your first appt. to get fitted for lenses can you just request to get rgp permitting that they come in the right size/shape for you? thanks. i dont know how that works...

You can ask for whatever you want. You are the customer. Tell the technician what you want and discuss your options. You are not obligated to buy anything.

I know this girl that used them there so unsafe, she got a common infection and had to have surgery to remove the lenses they grew into her eyes!! I wouldn't recommend them! I would imagine you could call ahead and ask if it's a possibility, they only carry certain brands and the brands they carry may not make them considering most people don't use them any more!

You're the boss - you're paying them. You can ask for whatever you want!

They may recommend against it for specific reasons. They may refuse to give you an Rx if they deem it a bad idea. But you can certainly ask them!
