I really like this guy at school and I really want to go out with him. Would it be awkward for me to ask him out? I need advice please!

I'd think if you approach him when he's around a friend or more, it will make him look good in front of his buddies and he'd be more inclined to accept the invitation. You see, the male in the animal world is the pursuer, so when a member from the opposite camp comes comes right up to him and offers him some personal time together, that can certainly be an attention getter or a no-brainer. If the guy is shy, it makes it easier to say yes. Good luck.

some people think the guys are always supposed to ask the girls but u kno what that's not the way it always has to go. by asking a guy out it shows you've got guts so u should go and asked the guy u like out but first make sure you get to kno him then make the move. dont be afraid of what other people think just do what u want.

I am not a guy but I asked this guy out and he said yes I thought it would be weird but it wasn't that bad. I don't see anything wrong with asking him out. What makes the difference on who askes who as long as you have fun.
P.S.
The guy that I asked out is now my husband. I sure am glad I ask him out. GO FOR IT....

NO it's totally cool if a girl asks me out its actually pretty hot it shows you have lots of confidence in your self go for it if he cant take a girl asking him out then he's a big weenie and you dont want to waste your time any ways

no its the 21 century and doesnt and shouldnt matter who asks who out as long as two people like one another show interest to one another alot in common like personality attitude of one another and some attraction but looks isnt everything and not all important but attraction and all inner qualites important and all else falls into place

no it's not. guys are under such pressure within their peers
to get a yes from a girl or suffer under the embarassing strain of
rejection.wish in my day i knew girls who wanted to ask guys out.
go ahead ask him out, save him the pressure, you'll be doing him
a big favor.

as a guy...i would be really impressed if a girl asked me out simply because that shows that she is willing to speak her mind and do what she has to in order to get what she wants.

yes you can now these days they do i have seen so many girls after my sons. but remember dont' try too hard cause if you have to call one person all the time then get with it and leave it. i had sons getting calls and they told me why bother to call them and then when they found the right ones they did pursuing. so you see you can but just dont' keep it up without them coming back to you also.
