Im looking into adopting a boxer, does any one have them? If so please share some of you experiences with us!

They are very, very energetic, But they do calm down once exercised. Love to eat so you have to be sure you don't over feed them. They do not like to be left alone. So if you work all day and no one is in the house with them they hate that. Boxer's are not the right dog for you. They are people dog's.

I think boxers are incredibly nice dogs, but are verrry energetic! When ours was a puppy she would just run and run around in circles in the yard for fun. Now that she is older she's calmed down.

Boxers generally have nice personalities. They are very energetic. Be prepared for lots of medical costs. They are predisposed to many types of cancers, endocrine disorders and skin problems.

We used to have a white boxer.....she was very needy and had to have attention constantly. You will need to have time to make sure you give it lots of attention. And they follow you everywhere, looking for that attention so be prepared.

They are the best dogs! I used to have one, and plan on getting some in the furture! they're really good dogs, and most of them are good with kids! they listen well too!

I don't have one but I have worked with several. I loved each one and can't wait until I graduate and get a house so I can have one. They also are great with kids!
