I am flying to France over Spring Break and I have a few questions. I will be flying to New York first, then to Paris. How do I find my way and switch planes? Especially if I do not speak English (in the Paris airport) and how would I find my way? I am only 13, lack of common sense (says my parents) and I am flying alone for the first time. I am not an experienced flyers. Any idea how I am to find my way around to the right plane? Thanks.

Sounds suspecious. 13 years old and flying to France. I take you ask because you are flying by yourself? I presume you will be with a group. If alone, at 13 years old the airlines is going to want to know that. And entering into France alone, I don't think the French immigration will fall for that one.

At 13 if you are not traveling with your parents then it will be with a group. The leaders and the chaparones of the group would know how to do this. So I take it your parents have sign a notarized letter giving whomever is in charge of you permission to take you on an international flight and into another country?

In most international airports the employees speak English, as do the store and cafe employees. You will not have any problems in the airports.

As to changing planes. The gates are numbered. You will arrive at a certain gate number in sequencial order. You depart your plane, and you look for the tv monitors of the planes DEPARTING. You will find a gate number and a departure time for that plane. Knowing that the gate numbers are sequential you can leave from your gate and easily find the new gate number. I could be in a different concourse. Counconrses are usually named or given a letter of the alphabet, such as: "A, B, C, International Terminarl." You get the idea.

If you arrive at gate C-12 and you depart from gate B-20. You must go from the C concourse to the B concourse and find gate 20 on the B concourse.

Good Luck and Enjoy!

First: Do you have your passport in order? New, rules you need passport to get back to the US, again. Then talk to the airlines about having staff escort you from flight to flight. They are there to help you and they will. Back to passport; It can cost around $100 per person. So start getting ready. Passports; do take time. Paris is French speaking city. Paris, France. They probably know some English. At least areas that serve tourists.

Montreal airport isn't very large. There are 2 arrival components. as quickly as for family contributors flights and one for international flights. you may purely ask every person engaged on the airport and that they're going to direct you to the appropriate spot. it is amazingly undemanding to navigate. Arrivals are on the backside point departures are on the surprising point.

Don't be afraid to ask airline employees or official airport people. Even experienced adults ask for directions at an unfamiliar airport. However, do not follow strangers anywhere.

u cant fly alone if ur 13yrs old. u have to be 15 yrs or older. ur parents have to pay a uncompanied minor fee and fill out paperwork at the airport when u leave. the airline will now be responsible for u from the moment u leave ur parent til the moment u reach ur family member or guardian at the destination.
