All forms of Wellbutrin are now available generically, as well as Zyban (used for smoking) - Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Wellbutrin XL, Zyban SR. Wellbutrin is the brandname, bupropion is the generic.

You didn't mention which form of Wellbutrin was prescribed and what strength. Regardless the CVS website doesn't have the new generic XL prices listed. But you can request prices online at http://www.cvs.com/CVSApp/cvs/gateway/rxpriceqrequest

Wal-Mart is generally less expensive than CVS, but you have to call 800-273-3455 to get prices.

Be well.

Yup. It's called Bupropion. It's still prescription-only, though.
