Me and you have the same problem. I am pretty sure, from my own experience, that you probably, deep inside, have a FAIRLY good feeling that she wouldn't mind talking to you but you are just afraid to go say anything to her.

I mean, the signs are if she looks at you, smiles at you, or tries to not look at you at all. If she is obviously not meeting your glance (sometimes you'll walk past her and she'll just blankly look away) it probably means she feels some attraction but is too shy herself to let you know by making eye contact.

Basically, if you're in a library and there is that girl you like, and suddenly, she starts looking away from you as if you have Medusa's head sitting on your shoulders, that is an obvious sign she likes you but is shy. Otherwise, why would she avoid you? I mean, even if you were hideously ugly, which I am sure you are not, why would she completely avoid looking your way? She is shy but is attracted.

I don't know how old you are, but I think the answer is probably the same regardless of your age. Basically, if a girl, or woman (if you are older) pays attention to you, she probably likes you.

Does she ask you questions about yourself or your interests? Does she compliment you? Does she touch you, even if it is casually? These are all signs that she might like you.

Also, does she just "happen" to show up at places where you regularly go? Does she call you "just to talk"? Or does she call to ask you a question that she probably could have figured out by herself? (Like a question about homework?) These are also pretty positive signs that she likes you.

But really, the only way you can know for sure if she likes you is to ask her. (Or ask her out if your're old enough)

Hmm..it depends, do you have any more details? Details would help. But usually we'll try to come up with ways to be around you if we feel comfortable talking to you, or run in the other direction if we don't :P But that also depends on wether you are friends or not...there are a lot a factors that are going to be specific to your situation. :)

Ask her, have a friend ask her. But if you dont tell her first then to you/your friend she might just say no because she doesnt want to embarrass herself because she might not know if you like her back.

Well, if she is shy, then she might just smile at you sometimes, try and make eye contact with you, or just sort of stare at you. If she is more outgoing, she might just say so, or she'll probably be pretty flirty with you. She might also try to impress you.
