i'm gothic but i'm not a satanist. but i have satan's symbol in my possession as a picture. will this make me a satanist of any sort or no? i remind everyone that i'm not religious whatsoever, and it shouldn't be all that bad. bud they believe me. so... can i get some help?

Not a good idea to have a symbol on you for something you do not believe in. Makes no sense to be such a sheep that you must follow the flock.
IF there is a Satan, then you are promoting him. There ARE Satanists, so by wearing the symbol, you are promoting them. Just as you would be promoting the Jewish faith if you wore a Star of David, or Christianity if you wore a Cross....even if you personally had no believe in those faiths.
Grow UP, be an individual, you don't need to be a member of some group to have an identity.

just because you have a picture of a satanic symbol doesn't necessarily mean that you are a satanist at all or that you will end up a satanist do you even understand the religion of satanism or luciferianism or are you just gonna end up being one of those teenagers that gives luciferianism or satanism a bad reputation anyway i'm agnostic but if you were to talk to a true satanist or luciferian they would tell you about the religion and put you in your place so that you don't give them a bad reputation

It depends on your situation. Suppose people in the church used the cross as a symbol to ruin your life and illegally intrude in your affairs, intimidate you, and so on, and if you tried to put up the cross at Christmas time, they used this as an excuse to make it look like you were the one who was responsible for their pompas judgement on your life while they proclaimed that they were heros at your expense! Whereas, if you put up the symbol of Satan, they left you alone and begged for your mercy, would you rather succumb to someone committing disgusting sin behind the cross or promote moral behaviour at the expense of putting up the symbol of Satan?!

Nothing that you do whether good or evil will make any difference if you have not secured your eternal salvation. When you stand before God on the day of judgment the only thing he will ask you is what did you do with the knowledge that Jesus Christ paid the penalty for your sin. All the good you do in your whole life will not erase one sin but repentance and faith in the shed blood of the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world will cleanse you from all sin.

I'm not sure what Satan's symbol is, but if this picture bothers you - and it must bother you at some level or you wouldn't have asked - maybe you should just stop carrying it for your own peace of mind.

Ones character is formed and judged by ones associations both people and symbols amoung others. If you aren't a Satanist why would you want people to think you are?

What is the Symbol?!?!? Bet it's not Satanic. Most so called Satanic symbols (Penagrams and inverted crosses) are not Satanic at all! If you are not religious then wear what you like!!!

Satan is real. God is real. Satanist or not, believer or not, having this symbol in your possession is ungodly. Get rid of it. Why would you want to carry something around so dark and sinister? Would you carry around a bible just as easily? Probably not. Why not?

for people that dont know you personally, may take it as in offense. and seeing how ignorant some people are, they would believe you were a satanist without an explanation. just as if someone was to have a jesus bumper sticker. they must be god crazy.

You say you are not VERY religious, so I have to ask do you believe in the christian bible? do you believe in the christian god and the christian devil? If no, then carrying around a satan symbol means absolutely nothing because you do not believe in the devil. If you do believe in the christian bible etc. then yes it is wrong because to christians it represents evil.
