I was an assistant wedding coordinator. The ring goes on ur left hand on the ring finger. on the wedding day when you exchange rings, the wedding ring goes on first, it's a vein - called the vena amoris in Latin - ran directly from that finger to the heart, the vein thing the person prevsiouly said, then the engagement ring. you dont' have to wear the engagement ring on wedding day, or where it on the right hand till the ceremony is over. you can always place that on after the ceremony so it won't cause a lot of fumbling around.

The left ring finger, because tradition holds that there is a vein that travels from that finger directly to your heart.

LEFT RING FINGER...and if you don't even know what finger the ring goes on I don't think you need to be getting married...You need to stay in school and get a proper education..
