If by that you mean peace in the region you are correct.
I am a dem and I will tell you that the only solution I see to Iraq is to remove the current leadership in a gesture to prove to the International community that we are willing to work with others to find a peaceful solution. In my opinion, only that and energy independence will help us in Iraq.

as of right now our "enemies" in iraq are mostly LN who are only targeting US forces because were here. right now we are sitting in the middle of a Civil war. Al Sadr was quoted as saying hes already won (he wants to take control of iraq and become a dictator much the same as Hussien did) because the american press and citzenship will win the war for him. He means this by saying that the goverment will pull us out and he will sweep the other factions aside with the Mahdi army.
the democrats want to remove us because they have this "ideaology" that war is bad and unessacary. also they want to pick up controling votes in congress (as well as expand the lead they already have) and have a president in the white house, right now its all about politics. and politics is whats gonna make the sacrifices of us (yes im a soldier) soldiers vain, if we dont stay here and help stabilize the region the death of my buddies was all in vain,

it's not the same, Dem's want us to leave Iraq and let the government take care of itself. Our enemies (insurgents?) want us to leave so they can overthrow the government. See they are different.

Because Dems and Neo-Libs hate to see us suceed, and many of them side with the enemy. Most hate the U.S. to boot and think that all the piss-ant countries that can't even feed their own people are somehow better than us.
