I just got asked out to homecoming by a good friend. This friend is a...well "a bad infulence" and I want to say no but how do I say no with out hurting him?

ya know....you consider this guy to be a friend so why cant you just go as friends? secondly, if you arent interested, if you are really 'friends' you should be honest with your feelings. tell him that the invite was sweet, but no thanks. as for bad influence, who thinks this, you or your mom- he is YOUR friend.

If he is a bad influence why would you want to have anything to do with him in the first place..Simply tell him NO you don't care to be around him.

tell him you are flattered by the offer but you are waiting for someone else to ask you. tell him u will save a dance for him though. good luck

Tell the truth.
Be nice about it, but never be untrue to yourself or those you consider a friend.

just tell him you had someone else in mind, hopefully you get to with who you want to go with and tell him soon so he can have time to ask someone else. good luck
