More than likely you are missing the necessary codec to play the format on the DVD...
My Windows Media Player Plays Everything...This is what I installed to do that...
1. Divx Codec.
2. XVid Codec.
3. Cole2k.Media.-.Codec.Pack.V6.0.8.-Advanced-.Setup

If you install DivX 6.4 & the Newest XviD-1.1.2-01112006, then make sure in the Cole installation those boxes are unchecked...

you are trying to play the DVD by a dvd participant remarkable? as in a CD-ROM that has DVD applications?... thats the only element i will think of of which would be combating you... because of the fact whether you won't be conscious, dvd's won't play on customary cd-rom cd-r/w drives... Dont panic however, a dvd rom force will purely value approximately 15-20 kilos. Failing that verify the cd force in (administration panel, device, hardware contraptions, cd drives) and confirm that the participant is set to play the area of dvd you oftentimes use... PLEASE be conscious! workstation dvd gamers are techincally ALL area, yet you are able to purely exchange the area of enjoying 4 time maximum... so be careful if that's the case... its no longer properly easily worth the agro you're able to desire to circulate by once you exceed those 4 area variations...
