Use a brush with soft bristles making sure you contact the scalp with each stroke allowing your scalp to get needed blood circulation causing more rapid hair growth & healthy hair.
Wash your hair less....yes less. Over washed hair strips it of natural oils that are essential for healthy growing hair.
Last but not least, the old fashioned way..... eat right! A well balanced diet is the best way & you will notice many other physical improvements along the way.
Taking a vitamin is good but your body still needs the right intake of natural sources.

I went to a VERY good stylist today...travelled 2 1/2 hours since I have had two bad experiences here in town with chemical damage. I am trying to grow mine back out to my long naturally curly good hair I used to have. She told me today that she knows it sounds crazy but do not cut it for 3 months (Mine's pretty short and layered as the damaged parts were cut out recently.) You may have to trim sooner if yours is longer. She also said that if you get it trimmed around a full moon - right before or right after, it will grow twice as fast that month due to something to do with the atmospheric pressures or something weird like that.

I hate to suggest this to a lady, but Rogain would help. I don't know if it'll work for women but you can talk to a pharmacist to see.
