I've had this, too. Just keep the ring off for a while. I've heard that liquid soap or lotion can get trapped under it and cause a rash. when I take off my rings, it goes away. Wear a cool bracelet instead.

It's impossible to diagnose you over the internet. Why not wait and see if the dry patch acts like that- in that case it could be dermatitis (Dry skin), ring worm (fungal infection) or something else. if it's a wart try some various wart medicines. Keep it clean - and your eye on it - and take your ring off when you wash your hands.

That's funny. I get that too! But only in the winter. Weird. It's just from washing your hands/doing dishes/showering with your rings on. The moisture gets trapped under there. It'll go away, just put some non-scented lotion on it and put the ring away or on another finger until it heals.

It could be an allergic reaction to the metal in the ring too.
Allergies can develop at any time. The ost common metal allergy is to nickle, but I've met people who were allergic to silver and godl too.

that happens for me when sometimes, it's the nickel in your ring...you're having an allergic reaction to it...i dunno why it happens..i wore one of my rings before for about a year before i got a reaction to it and other rings i only have to wear for an hour and i'll have the same reaction...i guess it's just the amount of nickel is in it...
