Ever since fourth grade, when i tried to do a back bend my back has been hurting on and off for long periods at a time. Whenever i lay down in bed it hurt unless i slept in a certain position, and when i get up in the morning it hurts too. Its not really stopping me from daily functions, because it stops a little after I wake up, but still, nobody wants to feel pain and neither do I. Its been hurting me a lot lately. Does anyone have any solutions or advice to help me? Please and thank you.

OOPS....I was gonna suggest a nice sensual massage but then I realized ur probably too young for that.....sorry! Several ideas for you: try placing hot or cold packs on your lower back.....when you go to bed, lay on ur stomach, place 1 pillow under ur stomach and 1 for ur head (helps take some of the arch out of ur back)

Go to the doctor as soon as possible. I have had the same problem for 5yrs and on November/06 I had an x-ray done and on 1-20-07 i had more x-rays done. I was diagnosed with scoliosis lumber, spondylolisthesis, and something else in my pelvic. the bone specialist said i dont need surgery for now. I'm going to get therapy for a month to see if that helps me. Im pretty scared. I dont want to get surgery on my spine.

You may need to see a doctor, but in my opinion, you're probably going to need a new boxspring and mattress. I would suggest a firm mattress also. Best of luck to you.
