I get a kick out of people who complain about an issue that God has already resolved. The Hebrews waited for a messiah that never came, at least not the way they wanted. Minorities continue to complain but they are making great strides. immigration? there are about 10 million illegals here making a living. gimme a freggin break!

i trust a lot as you do. yet regrettably we are getting a rustic that now no longer has kinfolk or non secular values. some are allowed to verify what's the rights of everybody. We as a rustic by technique of no longer voicing our reviews have allowed some to speak and settle on for everybody. We now no longer say sufficient is sufficient. We stand by technique of and allow the self-indulgent and money hungry make each and every of the options. i'm very worried about the " Me first technology". As a instructor I actually have had mothers and fathers tell me that their children do not ought to adhere to regulations or pay interest to authority. seem on the students that allowed to gown in a very irrelevant way and smash each and every of the regulations. I pray that quicker or later the yankee human beings will awaken and comprehend the direction we've taken.

A more appropriate question would be why do I always get stuck playing devil's advocate against psuedointellectualism at Y!A? You take Occam's name and yet fail to use his most famous contribution to philosophy. At the risk of asking the obvious...

Was your God silent, or did you fail to hear Him? If He spoke, were you capable or regonizing his voice? If you can be completely ignorant of the presence of carbon monoxide and yet be profoundly impacted by it, cannot the same be said for your absence of awarness of a position your God may take?

If you wish to enter into a philisophical debate (let alone a quasi-theological one) I respectfully suggest that your terms need more precise definition.

God is never silent, it depends though what you think god is. If you think of god as an old guy sitting in his chair, surrounded by angels, then yes; his silent, and probably death to.
The good news is that god is the presence in everything that surrounds you, including you. That's right; god is within you. You are part of god just like everybody and everything else in this world. God lives within you and you are never separated from the presence of god, and even if you wanted to, you wouldn't be able to. Perhaps you've been looking for him and longing to hear from him for so long now? He was always there waiting for you; inside your heart. She was always there; inside your heart, waiting for you to be ready to listen.
Go inside within yourself to meet with god, and I guarantee you that you will never question god being silent. You will hear the voice of god in the singing of the birds, in the whisper of the wind.
You will see god's face in the rising sun, in the child's face, and in the mirror of your own bathroom. And then you will "explode " from the love that you'll be able to see that god has for you. You will finally be able to see how much you're being loved!

Well that would be ridiculous, wouldn't it? Imagine life if God came out and stated His opinion every day, there would be no choice or free will at all, would there?YOu sort of ahve to figure out what God's opinion would be if He was talking.
And in some ways, He does. Terrible people get punished, good people are happy, usually.

I'm not sure what you're talking about, as with any issue I've had God has answered me on. If your talking about national disasters, God is there, He's always there for His children. God has always answered in three ways, no, yes and not right now.

He didnt stay quiet
eg when everyone wanted to build a huge tower to reach the sky, he created different languages so nobody could understand each other
When Slaves were in slavery he sent plagues
when thousands were starving he did a miracle so they would not starve
and the list goes on

Because, He has already answered every single question and issue in His Holy Word. Thats where you will find all His answers.
God doesn't need to repeat Himself. If we miss something He says, we can go back and re-read it.

God did not make the issues, mankind did. God watches , waits, seeing who comes and doesn't come to him for answers on situations.
Prayer is the answer.
