No. There is no scripture in the Bible that says the Father, Son, and holy spirit are equal AND that they make up one God.
Take a look at the scriptures that have been supplied in this column and then ask yourself if ANY of them even hint of saying that the Father, Son,and holy spirit are equal to one another and that they make up one God.
Take a look at some of Martin's "proofs" of the trinity.
Mat 3:16 And Jesus, when he was baptized, went up straightway out of the water: and, lo, the heavens were opened unto him, and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove, and lighting upon him:
Mat 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
Do you see anything here that says God is made up of 3 co-equal persons? NO!
Mat 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Does this Scripture say that God is composed of 3 equal "persons." NO!
2Co 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
How about this verse? Where does it even imply that 3 co-eternal "persons" make up God. It doesn't!
Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Do these verses say that God is composed of 3 co-equal, co-eternal "persons"? I can't see it. Can you?
1Pe 1:2 Elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through sanctification of the Spirit, unto obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied.
Can you see anything in this verse that says anything about 3 co-equal persons making up one God? NO!
The trinity is not a Bible teaching.

Think of it like this: as one other answerer said, YOU are a trinity also, created in the image and likeness of God. You are a spirit being; you have a mind, will, and emotions (the soul, if you will); and you live in a physical body. Yes, the concept of the trinity, (but not the word "trinity" itself) is in the Bible.

Actually the concept of the trinity (3 beings combined into 1 physical or spiritual being) became a solid concept about 300 years later at the council of Nicea.
There are many scriptures that say they are one, but they never say how, or that its a literal, physical oneness.

Yes Ali; the concept is there; Jesus said that he and the father are one and it seems that the Holy Spirit is simply the love between the father and son. However, the concept cannot be comprehended; it's a thing of faith.

Read Gospel of John, especially chapter 12.
In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives us air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives us water to drink and food to eat.
God gives us a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves us, and we are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!

Yes, God is 3 in person and 1 in essence.
Any reference to Jesus being the Son of God or accepting worship. (because only God can accept worship)

John 1 is a good place to start...
1 John 5 is also a good place
And its easier to understand when you realize YOU are a trinity too, you are body mind and spirit and so is God.

It's not actually spelled in so many words, no....it's sort of heavily hinted, but like a lot of other things its been interpreted over and over. Voltaire has some face-melting stuff to say about this. See "Anti-Trinitarians" in his Philosophical Encyclopedia (L'Encyclopedie)
