Definitely enclosed. They are far superior as anyone who has a subwoofer box can tell you.

you just said,

"Mine is vented, and I am not satisfied with the output. Should I amke [sic] a vent so air come out?"

There is something wrong with this picture or you really meant to say I have a sealed box.

First you need to build a box to the proper size requirements for the subwoofer you have. The manufacturer can recommend to you different box sizes for ported or sealed. The GENERAL guidelines is that a single 10 to 12 gets .8- 1.5 cubes sealed and 1.2-2.0 cubes ported. I don't know if you have a 15 but 15's usually do good in 2.5-5 cubes, again depending on the sub.

you cannot just "make a vent so air come out." The port needs to be tuned to a specific frequency.

There are many variables called "q" factors. Once inputed into a equation will give you the proper sealed and ported box volumes. You need to build a box ported or sealed to the specs of the speaker. If you dont you are wasting the speaker.

I think it just depends on how big the speakers are and what amp you put on it.Mine had two 12's and a thousand watt amp and the box was enclosed. It sounded great and that was in the back if an Alero.

to make a box sound good, it has to be made properly for the speaker, the power, etc of those speakers.

to just put any speaker into any box, it will never sound good.

look online about how to make boxes, how to measure the cubic inch of boxes and the use that info against your current box. you might find out that your box is just too small or even too big. to big is simple, just screw or glue in some wood strips inside that are the cubic inch that you need to take up.

its all mathmatics that makes the music sound good....not just name or style.

infinity's have a spectacular sound to them, notwithstanding the rockfords are badass and could deffinitly pound harder.i perfer a sealed container it sounds alot extra effective. as far because the amps bypass...properly there both tremendous amps as well. the mtx one has extra ability then the rockford. notwithstanding the t1's want the flexibility. reason there rated at 600w rms.properly thats that for my opinion

You can't just add a port, the box must be built from the ground up for this.
