I understand about marriage and everything else, but Lust, desire of sex for pleasure, is Natural. You can not help it. Why is something Natural a Sin? Therefore 100% of the World's Population would be Sinning, always.

Lust does not just cover sexual desires. Lust covers many things. When you want something and have no money to buy it you steal it, then you have lusted after something. Lust is a sin because it involves people who are not married, the male is looking for "fun" and the female is left with the off-spring.

What do you mean by skill of lusting? Lust is approximately how that different man or woman can fulfill ME. it objectifies the different man or woman on your man or woman excitement and satisfaction, lust and love are 2 somewhat some issues. in case you're down with being lusted after, and think of it extremely is a healthy mindset on your relationship, no subject, do what you will. Lust is a factor of being human.

Because God said in the Bible that it is, to be short and simple. He said this because it is ultimately putting something above him in a way. Whn you lust over someone, you think about doing sinning in a sexual way with the person, usually. This is also considered to be adultery, by the way. Anyways, when lusting one can't stop thinking about all the stuff he/she wants to do with the subject being lusted over or craved, almost being thought of as an idol. This puts what you are lusting over above God, and that is idol worship, another no no in the 10 Commandments. I hope this helps.

Lusting is one of the "seven deadly sins" because if it becomes a habit we tend to act on our desires. This would mean having sex with anyone we please. Your perception that lust occurs in marriage is incorrect and I don't know of any religion that teaches that this is lust in marriage. The married couple bond in a unique way that does not pervert or abuse the sexual desire.

The desire itself is completely normal, acting on it is a different story. There's nothing wrong with looking at a woman, and thinking, "Man, I'd like to get me some of that!". That's completely natural. But going over to her, stalking and raping her, that's not cool. Actions are important, not thoughts. This is the major problem I have with christianity, they don't distinguish between thoughts and actions (commiting sin in your mind, come on!), while any reasonable person knows just thinking about doing something doesn't hurt anyone, you actually have to take an action.

Sex is not a sin, as long as it happens inside matrimony. That's why pleasure comes with it. But just imagine if everyone decided to obey their lusts. The world would turn into a chaos. Don't you wonder that the most promiscuous people are the most unsatisfied in that area of their lives? Imagine if we would eat everything we wanted everytime we felt hungry. We would all turn into pigs, and die. Every area of life needs to be controlled.

It is one of the 7 DEADLY sins.
1. Pride
2. Envy
3. Anger
4. Avarice/Greed
5. Sadness
6. Gluttony(Eating to please not to Survive)
7. Lust
Self control and self mastery prevent pleasure from killing the soul by suffocation. Legitimate pleasures are controlled in the same way an athlete's muscles are: for maximum efficiency without damage. Lust is the self-destructive drive for pleasure out of proportion to its worth. Sex, power, or image can be used well, but they tend to go out of control.
I think mine is the best answer!

Sexual desire for your mate is one thing, lust is associated with types of sin like fornication and promiscuity. Lust produces STDs. Sexual fire or desire for your mate produces babies. That plus a loving bonding with your partner is what sex was meant for.

Lust is a selfish desire for pleasure from sex.
Sex does not have to accompany lust if it is done only to pleasure the other partner. It is only morally vindicated between a man and a woman who are married.

The bible states that to lust after something is like committing the act in your mind already. By all means it's great to desire your wife or spouse but the neighbor's wife next door. Not good.
