I have read and taught that story off and on for over 20 years and never saw that JOSEPH was 90 and MARY was 12. Could you give book/chapter/verse that says that? Or do you enjoy talking outta your hind parts and looking foolish in front of strangers?
When I first read that, I was thinking....HMMM MUHAMMAD.
Jesus taught that on the Mount of Olives????? Wow, guess I missed the story Jesus told of Mary and Joseph in Matthew where He taught from the Mount of Olives. What bible (note the lower case 'b') are you reading from?

I have read the New Testament many times but never one time did I read that. That includes the different versions of the Bible. The KJV, The Basic English version, The Translated version. Don't confuse Joseph and Mary with Muhammad and Ayesha. Muhammad and Ayesha are proudly written about in the Qu'arn.

I'm not that sure about your facts here, but with Mary, we know that she was old enough to be married in that day, and that she had been promised to Joseph in marriage, but the marriage had not yet taken place before the angel Gabriel told her that Jesus would be her son.
We also know that her extended family was scholarly and followed Jewish religious practices because before Jesus was born, she went to stay with her cousin Elizabeth. The Bible never states their ages but I could calculate it to see if you're right.

Considering that at the time 12 was a perfectly acceptable marriagable age in that part of the world, in most parts of the world actually. As far as I'm concerned that should never had changed.
What would I say about it? I'd say some guys have ALL the luck.

WOW in today's society, esp in the US, old Joseph and Mary's parents would probably be charged with sexual misconduct with a minor and child abuse at the very least!!! Thank the Goddess I am Wiccan. I think that is a really crappy thing to do...doesn't that fit with the polygamist who was recently charged and I belie ve he was picked up in AZ???

Hmm, the Bible never mentions their ages. I think you're trying to stir up trouble, aren't you?
