I have heard that glass is polarized by some and some say it is not. Does normal window glass prevent or allow sunlight and UV rays to penetrate through and sunburn human skin?

I hear a couple of "no's" and I was wondering if someone could explain why.

Yes, sunlight comes through glass, that's why we put our house plants next to the windows and open the drapes. I've heard that when you drive around without sunglasses or sunblock you will tan through car windows, though I don't know about burning. Wear sunblock if you're worried about burning.

No, you cannot get sunburned through a glass window. The UV rays cannot penetrate the window, polarized or not.

certain, although no longer as instantly as in case you've been no longer shielded by technique of the glass. My students examined this concept with a number of those UV detection beads that regulate colour in UV basic. The beads DID change colour interior a closed motor vehicle window.

I have gotten sunburned through the glass in car windows. I'm not really sure what polarization would do though.
