Dear Guillermo: Of course, God is a human word that is symbol of something greater than himself. But, I think you are speaking of the FORM of what we call God. Surely, He is not a human form in the sky. What He is - is found in the following Knowledge of His glory :
There is a nothing-ness that is everywhere you turn and "see." If you could "see" this Power, there would be no color, no shape nor form. In human perception - you would see nothing. But, THIS nothing-ness CONTAINS. . ..
This Power contains creations of it's Own Likeness : Mind - that humans call spirit or soul. The Power or Force of this Ultimate Being (MY Father/Creator) has Thought that goes out from itself as a current like something akin to electrical. His Thought flows from His Mind passing thru every Created Mind of His Own Likeness. As His Child, we are OF Him, but NOT Him. We are vessels for His Knowledge, Love, Unlimited-ness, and the sharing of His continual Creation outflow. The Ecstacy of this Being produces a non-stop overflowing of Love and Creation desire. He does not contain "human emotions," but rather does have the emotions of a divine love that feels distinctly different from the human concept of love : Divine love contains no judgement ; for spirit has not a judgement mechanism. Man has a judgement mechanism in his intellect or human consciousness. "God" knows. . .He simply knows higher from lower ordered Thoughts. That is the only judgement He contains. Some thoughts are higher - some are lower.
In our relationship to this Creator, we take in His overflowing of non-judgmental love and His Ecstacy of non-opposed and unlimited Creation. Those "emotions" flow as a Power from Him through us, the Created ; in a Power or force that sweeps through us : Not to overpower; not to make robotic our responses; but, a total divine melting of One-ness, Unison, and Equality in the throes of Co-Creation. His other "emotions" consist of steadfastness, devotion, and Purpose of Intelligence. (Humans have a counterpart of those feelings, but they are not the exact same quality of feelings as His.)
This Mind is the All. As a part of it, we ARE that All. Therefore, Intimacy is through the Mind - to be known. The relationship with Him is personal and intimate through Mind; yet, His thinking is abstract in format. God's Thought pool is OUR Knowledge. He has no specific or intended emotion or program for us. We are simply part OF Him. He shares of Himself, but each Created Mind is autonomous in its INTAKE and what it desires to feel -according to what it has received from Him. His Ecstacy causes an Ecstacy within us. His Creation impulses cause the same Creation impulses within us. Yet, beyond His "emotions" lies the pool of Thought that is all Knowledge. We pull from His knowing and consider His Thoughts (all Thought belongs to Him, first) in any manner we choose or any light we desire to see in. We share His Will. . .this means we experience joy in what He finds joy in. Our Wills are in sync. He knows us as One. The concept of One-ness is the basis of the Perfection of His Kingdom (the Kingdom the human eye cannot see).
The path to Him is not upward. The path to Him is walked OUTward straight into His Glory. He is not see-able. But that nothing-ness CONTAINS !
Physical life and a physical world are not our Ultimate Reality. Sufficient it is, to know that. For the rest, we must learn the Truths and tear apart the Veil thru our spiritual teachers.
I hope this has given to you the elements needed for contemplation and the impetus to study your Holy Self further and beyond the bibles.
Best regards, Lana

"Hydrogen Bomb" is a 'higher power' and anyone who had them is refferably "God" to anyone.
Fear is the source of all praise and Idolizations.
Meditation is a way in reaching the inner core of your being to have serene and peaceful existence among the creations.
Whatever your response would be, Higher Being upon Higher Existence is a Higher Thoughts from a Higher Dream. Let us just get stoned and not get higher. Peace.

No. The term "God" indicates monotheism. Deists (which are rare) believe in a creating higher power that is either impersonal or disinterested in humanity. But that view really makes no philosophical sense and lived a short life as far as beleifs go.

No. Satan is a higher power, but he is not God. He is a god; the god of this age, according to the Bible.(II Corinthians 4:4)

No. 'Higher Power' is the generic name. 'God' is usually used when someone has a specific deity in mind

I think God is bigger than a higher poiwer. I think people say a higher power because they don't want to refer to God.

Every human being has a "higher power". Some call it a soul, or subconscious mind, or inner self, whatever.

No, a "higher power" can be whatever you choose to call it. Believe - that's all that matters.

It depends on how you define God. Taoists believe in a universal force, like star wars, but dont call it god. But in hindusim just about everything has a god for it.
