"Citizens of certain countries, including Japan, who are travelling to the U.S. for 90 days or less for business or tourism may not need a visa. They may enter the United States on the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) if eligible. You will require a valid passport and a return or onward ticket. If you are not eligible to enter the United States under the Visa Waiver Program, you must have a valid U.S. visa."
