Both.
Jesus was, is, and always will be God, the supreme bring, and worthy of our adoration and worship.
Mary is the first of God's human creation to actually achieve the high and wonderful destiny he had in mind for her, by virtue of his power and grace, and by virtue of her own consent.
Jesus if proof that God loves man enough to become one of us.
Mary is proof that ordinary, created human beings can succeed and attain heaven, by cooperating with God's grace.
Both make life worth living, and are reasons for hope.

yes Mary is important because God used Mary to give birth to His Son . Although Jesus is the king of kings and the way to God. So Jesus is very important because he is the rightous one.
