Usually you get a pair for one year or two years maximum before buying new ones and they cost between $150-$250 a pair. Disposable are much cheaper and better for your eyes. Plus, they have ones for people with astigmatism now. Ask your doctor about them. You'll need a prescription first before you can buy them anyway (it's different from a glasses prescription).

I used to have an RGP exam at the same time as doing my each and each year eye exam, so the RGP exam is loose. although the lens itself fee plenty. and that i did not experience so delicate wearing them. it is worse than contact. and also you may't placed on it at the same time as doing pastime activities because it doesn't tightly stick interior the interest like contact do. and infrequently it ought to bypass to the left or appropriate of your eye, then you ought to re-adjust it through utilising some thoughts. those are the cons. the execs are it ought to very last for 5 years yet you should steam it each 12 months, and it is cornea-pleasant. So i desirous to placed on contacts coz it is purely too complicated to placed on RGP.
