Robert Pickton, in case you don't know, is the brutal serial killer / pig farmer who slayed as many as 49 women from Vancouver, Canada. The women he targetted were hookers and drug addicts - and whose disappearances were brushed off by the police. Until the cops finally did their jobs and raided his pig farm and found the dismembered remains of these women, Robert Pickton was free to pick and choose his kill from a number of prostitutes and junkies without fear. The police did such a horrible job of policing and shrugged off the disappearances of these women leaving Robert Pickton to have a free-for-all. Robert Pickton is now on trial for the horrible murders of these women. But it is the police who did not take their job seriously and follow up on missing person reports and in certain cases REFUSED to file missing persons reports of women whose bodyparts were later found at Pickton's farm. What do you think? I think the cops should be charged for their massive mishandling of this case!!
