I can relate to what you're saying. In fact, it has been my observation that in most families their has to be at least 1 "bad apple" and I think God puts people like that in our lives to measure the level of our charity (love).
The Marine Corps motto is Semper Fidelis (always faithful). When I was 17 and had an appendicitis I had to share a room with an "old codger" who swore up and down. I was intimidated by that. When I went to leave the hospital I went to leave without saying goodbye to my room mate. My dad told me to go over and say good bye. I was glad he did and I will never forget that. My dad showed me not to be intimidated (afraid) by someone like that and to show Christian charity no matter how you feel.
You have a "thin skin" and that's ok. Pray for those poor souls but have courage. I agree with how you feel but we don't have to let the worlds corruption affect us negatively. There are 3 sources of evil: the flesh, the world, and satan. Beware all of them. See 2 Thess 2:1-10.

And judging is the way of your religion. It's a big world, not every one has the same beliefs and if you want respect shown to you, you have to give it.
You state your question as there were only one religion in this world. Well there isn't, there are many. Then, also, many people like myself have no religion at all (I'm agnostic). Not everyone will be the same as you are and not everyone is meant to be.
Live and let live.

People today are no different than they were hundreds of years ago. Only there are more of them. There were drunks and gays since they learned how to brew booze and No, people don't decide to become gay, they either are or are not, no matter what the church tells you. Besides if you have no religion, all you have is peace of mind and your own moral compass to steer you by.Seems to me that people are much happier and better off without religion.

Why do you? Didn't god say something about not judging people? Only reasonable thing in the bible, if you ask me. What makes you think all those people have the same religion you do - maybe their religion or lack thereof encourages them to get drunk and have sex. What do you know?

Do not assume everyone has has the proper teaching such as yourself many have not heard of Jesus Christ or any other religious type person and have had to learn everything the hard way, if these people live around you, and you feel safe, they may learn from you or someone close about our savior. Have a fine day.

Yes many things I see in people today makes me sad. And what bothers me most is realizing that some you can never reach. Many haven't been taught of God and others refuse to hear. But it's all the more reason to take the word everywhere you go.

I do some things you probable wouldn't like. I smoke pot for one thing. But that's okay. I'm happy. You've got to look at it from an outside point of view so you can learn to be empathetic.

Lol, There's nothing in my religion about not drinking or being gay. Or for that matter about swearing now that I think about it. You cannot assume that everyone follows your religion.
