Ubuntu 6.06 Canon PIXMA MP130?

Can someone please help me get my printer to work with ubuntu 6.06 LTS?

I have been all over doing all sorts of tests and I can't seem to get it to work. Linuxprinting.org doesn't even have my printer listed.
So far the best I have gotten it to do was to print in black and white with the ip1500 driver.

You are right. I will email your question to Ubuntu in South Africa to see if they have a clue how you can get it installed.

My organization's O/S is Ubuntu and we use an HP- PSC1310 which Ubuntu was able to install quickly.

You may want to contact Ubuntu and let them know about the problem you have. They will try to find a way so you can install it.
