I think the main reason people are currently labeled as having
Social anxiety/phobia disorder is that they are more sensitive to how bad society is ****** up right now and they feel a lot of pain about it, which is very normal. People without social anxiety are the ones I'm concerned about. Things that contribute to social anxiety: the idea of 'laws' instead of requests, people using the word 'should', idea and actions of reward or punishment, labels; like saying someone actually has depression or social anxiety, as opposed to seeing that at the moment the person is 'feeling' depressed or shy, and many other things. -A

i honestly believe a person does not just have 1 single phobia. i suffer from this but i also have anxiety and panic disorder. my social phobia comes from the 2. they are all associated with eachother. fear of someone staring or judging or something bad will happen leads to the anxiety then leads to the panic and causes the social phobia.

Everybody is BORN with a phobia. It sounds weird, but its true. When we were on this earth, we were warned to be afraid of certain things (some people snakes, others spiders, etc) We were given this phobia not because were wimps, but because its our animal instincts. For social phobia, it might be because of extreme shyness, or like i said, something some people just dont overcome. Im sure everybody is born wtih 'social phobia' but most of us break out of it.

I believe it is due to being very self conscious or not being able to express oneself. Some people just have a knack for adjusting to the pressure of a group, others seem to withdraw out of some type of fear and discomfort. Yes it can be a horrible feeling, when I was younger I shared this problem with others then when I started to work with the public I grew out of it.

i have pretty mild social anxiety and the main reason why i think i have it is being afraid of being judged by others. and being this way is noticable to people, so they really start to judge me, which doesnt help. but anyways thats what that is.
