Of course this question is in reguards to physically romantic encounters with the opposite sex. How long is too long and how long is too soon before you lose interest and how long is too soon before you give the female the dirty title of a "non-lady"

Wait until you're married, or at the very least engaged.

I feel this way. If a guy really likes you and really wants to be with you...he will wait and no matter how long (o.k., lets not make it years). You will know when the time is right for you. There is no, say, "time frame". Everyone is different. You will "want to" do it because you will know that he does really love you and has waited without pressure. If a guy is consistently "wanting" to have sex with you, then you know that he is only there for that reason. Don't let him tell you that he loves you and wants to show you and then keep bugging you about it. There is no room for pressure. Sure, if he said it once and you tell him no, he should respect what you had said and respect you.

If a guy is referring to a little invisible stopwatch in his head that says, "If we shag each other before this magic deadline, she's not a lady," then you don't want him. Men like that are just looking for things to hold over you, and manipulate you with.

The "how long" deadline varies from person to person. For most modern men, they won't hold it against you if the two of you get intimate whenever you're ready. It took my husband and me about a month after our first date. Some extremely religious men, however, will find ANY sexual interest a woman displays in him before marriage will make her a "non-lady" in his eyes.

Instead of asking guys what amount of time makes you a "non-lady" in THEIR eyes, I say maybe decide how long YOU want to wait, and then find men whose timeline matches yours.

it all depends on the type of man u talkin about. a respectable man would attract a respectable woman, and if you sleep with him in 2 hours or two months after meeting him, he would still respect you. men that arent respectable, wont respect you or themselves, so to make you feel bad, he would degrade you instead of understanding sex is a mutual thing.

well if a guy likes u he wont lose interest, my boyfriend waited over a year for me and he'd never been in a relationship like that. but he was happy to wait for me. never feel like u have to do anything to keep a man interested, only do what u want to do and in ur own time!

General rule of thumb is three dates, before that you get the dirty title of "tramp," longer than that, the guy will look elsewhere for a better return on his date investment.

It really depends on the people. You could wait several months and the person wouldn't lose interest if it was really love.

It really depends on the other person. Some guys don't mind waiting. Others hate it. You just have to know what kind of guy it is.
