A friend of mine bought some Cattracks for his Yamaha. From what he told me, there were only two major draw backs. The first being reduction of turning radius and number two, being loss of power (loss of power because it took more power to turn the tracks as opposed to just turning wheels). Other than that, he said he liked them. He didn't run on them for very long, only 1 winter (Michigan UP), then he sold them. He did win a drag race with a Snowmobile though (and I regret to tell you, it was me), but in my defense, I had a used '90 Articat (pretty beat up) and he had a new '05 Yamaha 700.
