My mom had breast cancer last year and she came out fine. But for the last month she has had a sharp pain in her lower back pain. TODAY they gave the news we werent expecting, the cancer has returned. The doctor told her that it came back but, of course since it was the over phone he wouldnt get into details. Does it mean that because she has lower back pains for about month now that it has spread and that its probably really bad? And that it might be too late? Do you know anyone had the same problem and was caught on time and survived? I am so scared I dont want my mom to go away =( Do you have in personal stories that you can share with me? I would truly appreciate it! Thanks!!

I have a very dear friend who had breast cancer, she too developed back pain as her cancer returned. The cancer later spread to her ovaries, lung and spine. That was 11 years ago and she's still going strong! She started juicing (fresh veggies and fruits) everyday for a couple of weeks and then one week of whole foods. She became very spiritual and went to a place of worship every morning and prayed or meditated. She was also determined that this disease would not take her and that God was not ready for her to die. I guess it worked! Keep your chin up dear and give Mom all the support you can in keeping her positive. There's so much more out there now to fight cancer then there was even a few years ago. Best of luck and God Bless

My greataunt (my grandmas sister) Had cancer once when I was a baby they caught it in time. Then a year latter she had it again. then she died after i graduated from highschool in '92'. They have come up with so many new drugs and treatments since then that your mom will have more of a chance to fight the cancer then ever before.

Please go with your mom when she meets with her doctors again, and make a list of questions you have. They will make every effort to explain options in treatments and also offer you information you can research with your mom or on your own to help you understand her treatment options. Cancer is a really scarry disease and to think that you have had in licked then it comes back is doubaly scarry.

One good website you can start with is livestrong.org. (Lance Armstrong's foundation) They have some good links to support groups too.

If you want to talk to someone, you can bend my ear anytime. I've been through breast cancer too.

My girlfriend went through the same situation and its not easy at all. Unfortunately the cancer not only had return, but she develop leukemia. They try as much as they could to help her, but it was too late, and so she pass away 3 months later. Before she die she used Transfer Factor Plus and she was recovering but she start using it too late. Every case is different, but I which l would have known Transfer Factor Plus before. It increase the immune system and help the body to fight the cancer cells. Go to this link and look at the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OpTBhxwXEmQ

Until your Mom gives you the details ......... do not jump to conclusions - especially the worst! This will only upset you and her and everyone else in the family!! I know that it is hard to wait.. then you wait for this test.... then you wait for the results........ it is hard, but until you know for sure, maybe some positive thoughts wouldn't hurt!
