Leukemia has different subtypes of disease classified by Adult or Child and are treated differently.

The variety of names include:

there are different names for different blood diseases; leukemia is just one of many. It is quite complicated, but basically leukocytes are part of the white cells in blood, there are red cells (erythrocytes) and straw - coloured plasma fluid too.
