Going to the beach, for walks, driving around in the car, chill at the house, going to parties. Shooting pool, bowling, darts. Go to the stores and walk around. There are plenty of things 17 year olds can do on dates.

maybe a walk in a park. somewhere just the 2 of you, because if ur at a roller skating rink, you tend 2 focus on other things, not the person ur dating. A walk in the park, you could learn more about eachother.

Window shopping, walk in the park, museums, mini-golf, picnic is a great idea from above, check with local colleges for upcoming plays or musical shows.

walks in the park, just being together and talking...dates dont always have to be about spending money....the time u r with that person, just showing how much u care about each other and love each other is enough!

Comedy club, roller skating arena (like we used to do in the 80's- it's fun!), concert, planetarium. It kind of depends where you live.
