I read in a magazine article that The NATO members Britain and America are considering an anglo-American regiment of paratroopers. If this is true, do you think it would work?

It would work as long as we kept the other NATO members out of it! Brits can come along with us anytime.

Actually, there are a few NATO members that can join us, I just don't have a lot of respect for France, and I would love it if we got rid of them. War is no place for political games.

Seriously, NATO has been conducting war exercises for a long, long time. There's no reason why we can't expand into more modern activities.

We do the same thing now on the Pacific side with military units from Japan, S. Korea, Chile, Australia, Canada and other allies, just not yet with paratroopers.

It could work;given that they probably have trained together and party-ed together. But one people must be united, say, agin a force like the germany of the 40's; Thats not to say it could not happen; the usa itself has not destroyed its indigenous peoples
entirely; and the imported african slaves made a life there too.
Just dont think of our growing Mass democracys as the be-all-and-end-all of the progress that can be achieved. Either in terms of a successful defence force or a successful force of their two populations.

NATO often has joint operations. In the US Navy we had a Captain who commanded a Frigate, from Greece's Navy, in the 4th Naval Surface Group. Under his command, we received the Battle E, a MUC, and a few other command citations to brag over!

Well, considering that the US, Great Britain, and Canada are the only NATO powers that truly fulfill their responsibitites to NATO, they should do what they believe to be best for them.

The rest of them should bail out because they are not part of the solution. And if, as they say, you aren't part of the solution then you're part of the problem! Who am I referring to, you ask? We can start with our former allies, Germany, France, Spain, and Italy, and that's just the larger western powers. It appears that their Christian ethics are being sapped by opening their doors to middle eastern immigration and too many goddamn Islamics, because these countries have completely lost their balls.
