Nothing is wrong with your puppy. This is something that dogs do. It is normal and female dogs do it too, as do animals that are spayed and neutered. You can train them to lessen this behavior. But I wouldn't worry about it at that age.
Dogs are thought to do this when they get excited or when they are playing or trying to establish dominance.
Whatever the case, there's nothing wrong with your pup but when he does it, just tell him no and push him off as you say it. Gently of course.

This is fairly common in puppies. At this age, normally your pup would be with his littermates, and they would practice humping and other dominant behaviors on each other as they learned the world of dog communication. But because he doesn't have any littermates to practice on, he's practicing on you. If he does it again, keep a spray bottle ready and give him a quick spray of water in the face to get him to stop. Get him neutered as soon as he's of age (about 4 months), because some dogs will have a terrible habit of humping everything if they're not neutered.

When he does that, you act like a mother dog would. You push him down while you snap your teeth together once and give a low growl at the same time. That shows him that you are the boss. Then give him something else to do, something to chew on.

There isn't anything wrong with him, he is just trying to dominate you. Dogs are pack animals, that live by a socal standing.
