Try some special curling mousse. Some gels are too heavy and can weigh your hair down, especially if you have naturally straight hair. If your hair IS really straight, you might not be able to do this at all. You could try putting your hair in a loose braid overnight. That can sometimes work.

You definitely need a curl enhacing gel like Bumble and Bumble or curl Vive. There are a wide variety of them. You could also try using curl enhancing shampoos and conditioners as well. Try putting some gel on after you shower and then clipping sections of hair together, twisting to form curls and hold tight with bobby pins. Go on with your usual routine and before you're ready to go out the door, let the curls loose and the air should try them into nice waves.

You could get a Body wave OR perm
Sometimes I use some gel and fluff the hair when it drys
Its sorta wavy..Some hair needs that Body wave OR it will stay Poker straight-- Try some curlers?..Curling iron OR brush..
play around with your hair maybe you'll find what you like
Good Luck!!

Its better to use hair spray.. Gel doesnt make it any better. Once you get out of the shower put hair spray then crunch it up if you know what i mean. And it wont dry up. Give it a try because gel doesnt help. Goodluck =)

is your hair natraly curly? if it is then you could use a shampoo for people with curly hair. if not then do this.

after you get out of the shower put some herbal essences tottaly twisted gel in your hair. then tottaly twisted mouse. and blow dry. when blow drying move your hair around with you hands. try to make little twists. if this does not work then go to a salon and ask what you can do to get you hair to do what you want it to. they can help.

You might try blow drying with a diffuser (sp?) or if you do not have a diffuser, crunch it all up in a clippy claw and blow dry that way.....you should get some curls.
