You are probably allergic to it.

it could either be an allergic reaction OR it could be from the acid in the mango. I cant eat mangoes, oranges etc etc alot of fruits with citric acids in them because my tongue swells up and I can taste blood coz its like it has taken some crap off of my tongue, it is so painful so I have to stay away from those fruits.

Call the ambulance and ask a professional

Well when in doubt, if you feel a reaction to something that shows a sign that you could be allergic. Go to your doctor and talk to him/her ask questions and get answers, you will see what the deal with your tounge is. P.S. Stay away from Mango;)

Def. an allergic reaction. Not being racist at all but a lot of Caucasion people are allergic to Mango. It acts somewhat like Poison Ivy. People that are exposed to it all their life have created an immunity to it but if if you haven't been exposed to it before it'll cause an allergic reaction.

Your tongue is swollen because your body is going into shock, and your throat passageways are probably going to close up and you won't be able to breathe. Get an Epi-pen shot or go to the ER and stop whining on here looking for an easy fix.

You might be having an allergic reaction. Call your nearest hospital or try getting benadryl. I would definitely call your nearest ER though.
