I just got asked to be the maid of honor at my sister in laws last minute wedding in 3 weeks. What are my responsibilities since she is doing it in vegas? Help!!!

How fun! Take it all in the spirit of her wedding style...spontaneous and lively! A maid-of-honor typically throws the bachelorette and bridal shower but just ask her what she wants. Since there is so little time, it may just be that she wants to take a day before the wedding in Vegas to go to a club and dance all night with a veil on her head and a tacky t-shirt that says something funny. :) Lots of brides do that in Vegas (I'm from there.). She may not want you to do anything but hold her flowers while she says "I do." You should just ask what she wants you to do. It's not improper to talk about it.

you need to have a bacholarette party for her, invite all of the people in the wedding party on the girl side, as well as all her good girl friends and family. Have it simple nothing to big just have a few games, and have something for everyone to eat.
Also have a wedding shower for her, again invite all the girls she knows and decorate a place where you can hold the event and have something to eat and drink for them. Buy a gift of course for the both of them. Help her out with the invitations and anything else she needs help with, call her and tell her to call you asap when she needs help with anything. You need to say a speach at the reception, you need to be there for rehersal and help her get dressed on the day of her wedding.
