I too have been suffering with this eye problem for over two months now. I've read about the dust mites and it's suggested that you wash your bed linens once a week in hot water, vacuum your rug in that room as well as drapes, etc. Use non allergenic pillows and wash them every couple of months. Change the pillow cases once a week. I've been blaming live Christmas trees for this problem because I get it every year right before Christmas. I found out it doesn't seem to matter because the same thing happens even when I use an artificial tree! I don't know what it could possibly be.

I know how you feel. There are really good antihistamine eye drops available. One is called Elestat. It is a mast cell stabilizer. Anyway, ask your doctor about it and get a prescription. In the meantime, you can get homeopathic relief with an allergy eye drops from a company called Similasan. The eye drops are sold at pharmacies and places like wal mart. it will help you a lot!

Ooook.... Are you allergic to anything? Did you already try rinsing out your eye with lukewarm water? Also, if u r brave, u can try peeling down the skin under your eye and poking through there to see if there is dirt or mucus in it.
