Most guys wear a low pony tail- it's simple: run your fingers through to make it smooth, hold the group of hair at the nape of your neck, with the other hand stretch the band your going to put it up with with all your fingers. With the band opened up with your fingers grab the base of the pony tail, pull it through so the band is around the hair, twist the band and do pull it through again. Do that until it's tight. To tighten it against the head: with both hands grab the ponytail in 2 parts and pull out (towards the sides of your head)
I hope that makes sense ^_^

Ok... Comb/brush your hair enough to get it smooth and pulled out in the spot you want the pont tail. Then holding it all together put the hair in the middle of the rubber band. Then twist the extra lenth of the rubber band once and loop the hair back through the center. Do this untill the band is tight enough to not fall out. If its a bit crooked you can kinda pull your hair in the ponytail from the top the direction you want it to go. Dont use newspaper rubberbands. Thay are not covered and they get stuck in youre hair!

1. take an elastic ponytail holder and wrap it around your writing arm's wrist.
2. grasp the hair you want to make a ponytail out of and hold it with your other hand.
3. bring the ponytail holder up from your wrist and put your hair inside it.
4. as if you were tying up a poster with a rubber band or tying up some chords, its that kind of motion. pull out the elastic, twist it, and put the hair through.
5. repeat step 4 until the ponytail is the desired tightness.

grab your hair at the nape of your neck then take the elastic band (not a rubber band or you will kill your hair!!)and put it over your hair then twist it and do it again and again until it is secure! :)
good luck!
