is it true if you get a lower back tattoo, and then get pregnant (not that im planning to), you cant take any medicine during labor?

I think it varies by the doctor. Find a doctor that will inject you trough your tat.
BTW, to you people that call it a "tramp stamp" you should call it what it is. A BACK PIECE. You people should boycott the term tramp stamp.

I think that you have heard an urban legend. As long as the scar tissue isn't where the anesthesiologist needs to insert the needle, you are good to go. They can usually get around a tattoo by going at the site from another angle.

No, its not true at all. I know someone who has a lower back tattoo and recently had a baby. The doctors gave her meds.

NO that is a complete myth. there is no harm in having an epidural when you have a back tattoo. i have researched this on medical websites. i will most likely have babies one day and i am currently working on a full back tattoo.

i have heard that too years ago ... but its not true. i have a tatt on my lower back ... and had my daughter 2 years ago .. had an epideral and the nurses didnt say that i couldnt get it

I don't know but I seen on the Internet that if you have a tattoo on your lower back can cause birth defects to your unborn child.

yes it is true because they have to inject the lower back for epideral to numb the lower area for you to push the baby with out no pain so i advice you to have it natural
