why call immigrants ALIENS ...why not call them illegal?

ok i agree and disagree with letting illegals get in.....but ok some people do it the right way and thats good!! but others dont kno how to do it the right way its not their fault that they dont kno how....i think if the amnesty passes again it would be better because then people can do it the right way....and if they take everyone out i think that would be a crazy move bc how could people manage w/ out illegals here in the US??? ....and isnt it a bit rude calling them ALIENS?? they are just people like everyone else....just trying to have a better life here....and yes that is the term they use as for people who were not born here and just came into a foreign country but i dont think people should use that word....and yea people come in the wrong way but they dont have a choice....

because not all immigraqnts are illegal. aliens just means from somewhere other than our country....you would be an alien in another country.

Alien only means that they are from another country and doesn't necessarily mean that they are illegally staying in the US. You can get in the US legally if all the immigration requirements and laws are met.

Most people didn't want to go through that process because it is a rigorous one and is always a long wait. 2 years the least and 20 years the most.

A logical fact of why they're called aliens is due to the fact that they're not native to the land sort of like a science fiction alien visiting Earth.It's like they're new to the environment.I think that the U.S. should be open to all immigrations whether legally or illegally.It all boils down to a sense of morals.Of course a person who thinks other people deserve the same oppurtunity as he or she not looking at race,creed,religion,gender,sex,education,etc.Yes, they do come here to seek a better life for themselves or their families, but yet and still Mexico has to handle that problem themselves.Their government has to take action into rebuilding its economy which would explain why an American dollar is waaaay more valuable in pesos I can agree with that, yet you never know the danger you may be letting into the country like those suicide bombers.I think that's a big hub bub about nothing because the race and religion getting singled out are Arabs and Muslims which isn't right.How do you know a person of another race or religion isn't a suicide bomber? This country still has a lot of racist tension and issues it still isn't over.That's a fact.Yet others think that they are stealing jobs of the Americans like you said.I can see this problem yet wasn't it 300 or 200 years ago the Europeans,Asians,etc. immigrated to this country seeking a better life.Were they called aliens? Time change people but their needs don't, you see what I'm saying?I would get more into race and how The U.S. still has issues with it like this whole Barack Obama "The Black Hope" haha.Yes, as African American it is good to see a brown face running for president yet it's what he can do for the country ,the experience he has the same thing with Hilary and any other body running.It's what they can do for the country;satisfying the people's needs.Our United States is changing and we need somebody that identifies and handles that fact carefully.Of course I'm rambling on now.I hope I answered your question and got you thinking about other issues.

Illegal aliens know very well what the immigration laws are. You have over 12 million here from Mexico illegally they understand immigration very well. Them having a better life is not our problem. The people of 9-11 were just people like anyone else. Why you would want more planes into buildings is beyond me.

Illegals are here without papers or permission, there is a legal way to immigrate here, but it is cumbersome, aliens isn't a reference to UFOs it has to do with being from out of country, not outer space. Not all immigrants are illegal, so why should they be lumped into the same category as legal immigrants?
Without the ability to turn to law enforcement when things happen, they become as slaves in our society, without recourse if they are cheated. For their sakes as well as our national security we need to know who is here.

Alien merely means one who is living in the United States and is not a citizen. There is nothing perjorative about the term.

Nearly every illegal immigrant knows full well he or she is breaking the law. Why else would they be sneaking in at night, wading across rivers, paying huge sums for transportation, etc.
