They would not kill her but she could get injuries. The best thing you can do for your cat is to get her spayed. Being in heat is miserable and every time she has kittens she will get weaker.
Do you realize that for every 1 person born, there are 7 puppies and kittens
born? At best, 1 will find a forever home.
And don't forget, that every "Free-to-good-home" litter takes homes away
from animals already at the shelter.

STOP letting your pets; or your friends, relatives or co-workers pets
contribute to the problem.
If you love animals, it is NOT ENOUGH to merely say "My pets are fixed".
Vow to educate and enable others to fix their pets too.
Spaying just 1 female dog or cat, will prevent 6 others from ending up in a
shelter the following year.
Please be part of the solution, NOT the problem!
Thank you. ^..^

4 MILLION CUTE KITTENS (and puppies and cats and dogs) ARE KILLED EVERY YEAR because people want their own pets to have babies.

If you want kittens, PLEASE go to you local shelter.

For every kitten your cat has, there is a pet in a shelter somewhere being put to sleep.

PLEASE PLEASE reconsider your wants.

To answer your question: when your cat is in heat, she will mate. I don't know if she will mate with the first Tom that she meets, or if she will choose one or what.

If she mates with a feral (wild) cat, or an outdoor cat, she may develop whatever disease the Tom is carrying. There is a form of feline AIDS, and I don't know how it is spread, but I wouldn't want to chance having my cats or her kittens getting it, as most shelters will kill a cat who has it. There is also feline leukemia, which I believe is deadly. Again, I don't know how it is spread.

Please think carefully about what you are doing.

If you ever decide to have your cat spayed, local shelters or sometimes even vets will help cover the cost.

listen, about the kittens being cute... yes and are sooooo adorable, but if you are planning to just give them away after you have got to play with them a little, then I urge you to go and get your cat spayed so she cannot have kittens. There are too many kittens and cats in need of homes in shelters right now.

First of all, how old are you? If you only have five bucks to your name you have no busness having the one cat you do have let alone breeding her! The cost that you pay at shelters covers spaying or neutering as well as shots required by law. I bet you haven't even gotten those shots for your cat, have you? Along with getting your cat fixed you may want to look into human sterilization. Stupid people shouldn't breed.

you do no longer say the age of the male - youthful adult males each and every so often do no longer understand what to do. there is not any longer something you somewhat can do to help. He additionally might have a decrease testostone count huge variety and not have an interest. seems such as you have a seal factor kin shorthair and he's a crimson tabby. the only way you will get kittens like her (pointed) is in the experience that your tabby is carrying the pointed gene. or you will basically get solid, tabby and tortie kittens.

Get a life, you only want to mate so that there are another batch of kittens in shelters or running around the streets. Cute or not is no reason to breed her.

you want her to have kittens because they are cute?

go to an animal shelter and look at all of the cute little kittens there that dont have a home. most of them will be put to death because there are not enough homes...

does that sound cute too?

Males will chase and pursue if your cat is in heat. If she isn't they won't. most of the time they will proably fight for her but dont worry. let her chose her mate and dont spaz out. But be careful some toms carry lots of diseases.

When your cat is ready for a boy cat, it will happen. I dont think they will kill her, but she is mostly likely not ready yet.
