The step=daughter is planning her wedding for that particular timeframe. Is this selfish of her, ,or should I see it as one day and bite the bullet to please my husband and child?

Please, for the benefit of the family-postpone your trip, and attend the wedding. I don't think it would be selfish on her part. Please see it as one day-her special day-like yours was when you married her father. Wishing you all the best. Take care.

I think you should bite the bullet and postpone the trip. I know this will be so disappointing for you, but will probably mean the world to your husband and child.
