i love platonic relationships.sometimes they r not realistic, but they r still graet.they feed ur sense of romance & fires the imagination.
well personally, i think that some of them may stay platonic, but not all of them.

Well in the pure sense of the word, they don't even exist. Platonic comes from Plato's philosophical term Platonic Realism, which refers to something ghostly and unreal...such as a non-sexual relationship between a man and a woman! To quote my favourite film "When Harry Met Sally" The sex always comes into it, and it's usually the man who thinks of it first ;-)
So my friend, you stand on a knife-edge, you either walk the edge and keep it in your pants, or if you slip and fall, one way leads to a ruined friendship, the other way leads to a stunning relationship.
I hope you don't slip and fall with one leg either side of the knife...that just doesn't bear thinking about! Good luck

In a nutshell no. One of you will always have greater feelings for the other, eventually they will surface and the platonic status goes out of the window. Whether it turns out you both feel the same is another matter.
Unless the guy is gay and the girl is a lesbian, this is about as "platonic" as it gets.

The very best relationships always start as a platonic friendship,these kind of relationships seem to have more longevity than the love or lust at first sight kind.I guess from your question that you are in love with a close friend.Good luck to you I hope one day they reciprocate

I've had platonic relationships that have remained so for over 30 years.
I've had others which have not.
It's a silly question as a 'platonic relationship' remains plationic for as long as it is 'platonic.'

i wager really merely ask your self what might want to you want your spouse to do if she become on your difficulty??? Why do not you're taking your spouse out to lunch. It feels like you've already got emotions for that woman, or your already wondering about it. So really you're already dishonest your spouse out of the reality of who you're spending a at the same time as with .. i am going to be somewhat PIZZED OFF if my husband went to lunch more advantageous than once with a lady from artwork and he or she is the in user-friendly words one he's speaking with.. Or would I say determining on to communicate with. quickly the human beings at artwork will see you and her jointly a lot that if there's a x-mas party or some thing they are going to see your spouse and bypass Oh I didin't imagine you've been married. Rumors will fly. Does your spouse deserve that. Is she at abode with the youngsters????? You do have plenty to free-----YOUR recognition & SELF appreciate> be careful.

dont know what the circumstances r but sometimes when somebody suggest u just have a platonic relationship its usually a hint that they dont want more......good luck
